There are informative pages on topics such as Pet Insurance Basics, Deductibles, Policy Limits, Policy Types, Pre-Certification and Exclusions. This is an essential website to help you understand the general issues related to pet health insurance.
Pet Insurance Review Website
This website (www.petinsurancereview.com) is a customer-driven website. It provides links to all major pet health insurance companies as well as feedback and rankings from policyholders. This is a wonderful way to get honest feedback about the various companies. Also, it will give you up to five quotes from a variety of insurance companies. The best part is you only have to enter your pet information once (rather than going to each carrier and getting an individual quote).
Ensuring Your Pet's Health Brochure
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) also has a very good brochure entitled "Ensuring Your Pet’s Health." It has great information on funding options for your pet’s medical care.
